Judges address pre-law students

The American Bar Association's Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO), Oakland University, and Thomas M. Cooley Law School brought its pre-law program to underserved Michigan college students in June at Cooley¹s Auburn Hills campus. On Friday, June 18, the Association of Black Judges of Michigan (ABJM) gave its panel presentation at the CLEO Sophomore Summer Institute.

Taking part were (front row, left to right) Gloria Whittico, assistant professor of law at Regent University School of Law in Virginia; Macomb County 41B District Court Judge Sheila Miller; Cooley Associate Dean John Nussbaumer; Wayne County Probate Court Judge Judy Hartsfield; Timothy Wiggins, student teaching assistant for Logic & Critical Reason class; and Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan Judge Edward Ewell.
