The Oakland County Bar Association’s Criminal Law Committee continued its Anatomy of a Criminal Case—Year XII brown bag lunch lecture series with a look at “Drunk Driving” on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills. Presenting at the lecture were (left to right) Walled Lake attorney Travis Reeds and Birmingham attorney Dan Larin. “The drunk driving laws are so complex that it’s almost become a specialized field of practice,” noted Reeds. “Attorneys should keep aware of the statutory amendments and the case law which is constantly evolving and changing—keep abreast of the potential consequences of drunk driving pleas on not only our clients’ criminal record but their employment status and their ability to travel freely about the country and outside the country.”
