People's Law College hosted

 The Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library presented the latest People’s Law College lecture on “Thinking Ahead, Estate Planning for Seniors” on Tuesday, April 26.  

The People’s Law College is sponsored by the Public Services Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA).  

Taking part in the lecture were (left to right) Mona Jebar, Lindsay Citrin, staff attorney with Thomas M. Cooley Law School and OCBA Public Service Committee chair; Jim Lampertius of Lampertius & Associates PLC; Sayeda Davidson of Law Offices of Lee and Correll; Mark Harper of Gifford, Krass, Sprinkle, Anderson, & Citkowski PC; and Jenna Huskinson, OCBA coordinator of Continuing Legal Education.  

“We’ll concentrate today on the medical and financial dimensions related to caring for loved ones,” noted Lampertius.  

The next People’s Law College will focus on “Immigration Law: Status, Rights, and Obligations of Non-citizens” on Tuesday, May 31.  The workshop is open to the public.  There is no charge to attend, however seating is limited to 40 people.  The public is encouraged to register in advance with the OCBA.  To register, call (248) 334-3400.
