Board of Commissioners begins budget process for fiscal year 2012/2014

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners will schedule a series of meetings to review county departments and operational expenses. As part of the budget process, the Board of Commissioners will be looking at all areas of the recommended triennial budget for Fiscal Years 2012-2014.
All meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Committee Room A, located at 1200 North Telegraph Road in Pontiac. The 2011 Finance Committee Budget Hearings are scheduled for Thursdays, July 28, August 11, 18, and 25, which will follow the 9 a.m. Finance Committee and the 9:30 a.m. Board of the Commissioners meetings.

Middleton (R), Finance Vice Chairman Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub (R), Finance Minority Vice Chairman David Woodward (D), Kathy Crawford (R), William Dwyer (R), Tim Greimel (D), Christine Long (R), David W. Potts (R), Nancy Quarles (D), and Jim Runestad (R).
