Music, flights featured at Selfridge Air Show

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- The 2011 Selfridge Air Show and Open House takes place Friday through Sunday at the suburban Detroit air national guard base.
Selfridge is in Macomb County's Harrison Township, neighboring Mount Clemens.
On Friday, the base will host a dinner party and outdoor concert with Eddie Money, a fly-by of several aircraft, and fireworks. Ticket information on the dinner and concert is available at www.selfridgeairshow.org .
The show runs Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free both days.
Selfridge says that Saturday and Sunday's activities include flying demonstrations and dozens of planes parked on display, both active and historic military aircraft.
