Jackson Affordable Housing Annual Meeting and Luncheon is set for Sept. 22
Jackson Affordable Housing Corporation (JAHC) will hold its Annual Meeting/Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Armory Arts Village located at 100 Armory Court.
The annual board meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. (open to the public) followed by a prison-style lunch to be served at noon.
Also, history storyteller, Judy Gail Krasnow, will perform.
Donations for the lunch are $20 per person.
JAHC will present the annual report followed by guest speaker Larry Shaffer (Jackson City Manager), and an award presentation.
JAHC is a nonprofit corporation that provides financial assistance to low to moderate-income families that qualify for a mortgage in the city of Jackson, and provides home ownership counseling county-wide.
JAHC also purchases substandard housing and renovates homes to resell at affordable prices.
