Firm conducts pro bono legal clinic

Butzel Long, in conjunction with the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association (DMBA), hosted the Access to Justice Program's pro bono legal clinic in the firm's Detroit office on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
Several attorneys participated in the clinic where they conducted client interviews and new matter intake for ten pro bono clients.

Butzel Long has a longstanding commitment to pro bono service. The firm has been named to the State Bar of Michigan's Access to Justice Circle of Excellence for several consecutive years because of its demonstrated dedication to community service.
In June of this year, Butzel Long received the DMBA's Pro Bono Service Award in recognition of the firm's service to the community and leadership with the DMBA Access to Justice Program legal clinic.
The firm also recently was recognized as the Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year by Legal Aid and Defender Association.
Butzel Long strongly encourages every member of the firm--attorneys, paralegals and staff--to provide pro bono assistance and make a real difference in the communities it serves.
