Family Service and Children's Aid, 330 West Michigan in Jackson, is celebrating National Adoption Month by encouraging potential adoptive parents to learn more about adoption and foster care.
"If your family has been talking about whether adoption or foster care parenting is right for you, come and learn more about the process," the agency recently said.
"We are hosting two orientation sessions on November 9 from 9 a.m. to noon and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served."
Private orientations can be scheduled for individuals who cannot attend the November orientations.
Contact Family Service and Children's Aid at 517-787-7920 to RSVP for one of the November 9 orientations or to schedule
a private orientation.
