Foster and adoptive parent orientations set for Dec. 14
''It is the season of giving and celebrating with family, and what better way to do that then for your family to consider giving a home to a child in foster care," says a spokesperson for Family Service and Children's Aid in Jackson.
The organization invites anyone interested in learning more about foster care or adoption to attend one of its information/orientation meetings set for Deceumber 14.
"If your family has been talking about whether adoption or foster care parenting is right for you, please come and learn more about the process. We are hosting two orientation sessions on December 14 from 9 a.m. to noon and5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Family Service and Children's Aid, 330 West Michigan, Jackson.
Private orientations can be scheduled for individuals who cannot make one of the Dec. 14 orientations.
Contact them at 517-787-7920 or email stasiamilligan@strong-families.org to RSVP for one of the these orientations or to schedule a private orientation.
