Ella Sharp planning JAMA exhibit
Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Jackson Area Manufacturig Association with a special exhibit runing from mid-February to Mid-April.
In partnership with JAMA executives, the staff of the museum will focus on the beginning years of the association, its 13 original companies, and will showcase products that have been manufactured in Jackson.
The exhibit also will highlight the companies in the area that are on the cutting edge of technology and manufacturing.
"Ella Sharp Museum is extremely proud of the rich and diverse manufacturing history that has taken place in Jackson and the history that continues to be made daily in our community," a museum spokesperson said.
If you have any materials, products, photographs, and/or historical items from your company from anytime during approximately the last 75 years (i.e., late 1930s) that themuseum might be able to use (on loan from you/your company) in the exhibit, contact Cari Wolfe, exhibits coordinator, at:
