Grace Centers of Hope supported

On Tuesday, Dec. 6, the Eastern Michigan Chapter of the Association of Litigation Support Professionals (ALSP) joined forces with the Detroit Women in eDiscovery (WiE) chapter and conducted their annual Holiday Party at Dino’s Lounge in Ferndale.

A number of local legal professionals attended this festive event while supporting the Grace Centers of Hope.

Among those making the season merry were (left to right) Carolyn Robinson, Suzanne Alfastsen, Shannon Mason, Guy Levin, Shannon Grace-Sokol, Denise Bach, Barbara Bennett, and Mandi Wiggins.

Grace Centers of Hope, located in Pontiac, provides meals, clothing, and shelter to Detroit-area residents in need.  With their “$2.05 Meal Program,” ALSP was able to provide funding for 582 hungry people to receive meals.

Nearly $1,200 was raised due to generous donations from local businesses and organizations. Silent auction and raffle winners received gifts such as iPods, Tigers and Red Wings tickets, gift baskets, jewelry, fine wine, and Dinner for 10 catered by Dino’s.

The ALSP and WiE thank Dino’s Lounge for graciously hosting this event for the fourth year in a row.
