Mentors Plus celebrates Mentoring Month

In celebration of National Mentoring Month, the Oakland County Youth Assistance Mentors Plus program will be passing out flyers and collecting food and donations to support Gleaners Food Bank on Saturday, Jan. 21. Volunteers will be stationed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kroger stores in Commerce Township, Orion Township, White Lake, Birmingham, and Royal Oak.
Afterwards, volunteers and all mentors and matches are invited for Pizza, Prizes, and Fun from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge located at 2100 Scott Lake Rd in Waterford.
