The Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA) started off the new year with its January meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Andiamo in Bloomfield Township.
Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn LLP Partner Brian D. Wassom (right) spoke on the topic of “Right of Publicity” at the meeting.
He provided an update on what to know about this poorly understood area of law and how Right of Publicity is quickly evolving in Michigan and across the country.
“We’re summarizing the top six reasons why Right of Publicity is important and deserves to be in every IP litigator’s toolbox,” said Wassom.
Welcoming Wassom to the meeting was MIPLA President Juliet Kavanaugh (left) of Dierker & Associates PC.
