'Credit Reporting' focus of People's Law College
The Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library will host the "Credit Reporting- Building and Rebuilding Your Credit" workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Amy Parten, Community Relations and Education specialist at GreenPath Debt Solutions, will speak to attendees about the credit reporting process and how to rebuild credit after suffering economic hardship. GreenPath, headquartered in Farmington Hills, is a nationwide, non-profit financial organization that assists consumers with credit card debt, housing debt, and bankruptcy concerns.
This workshop is the second in a series of four public lectures on legal topics that will be presented in the first half of 2012. The lecture series is titled The People's Law College. Members of the public are invited to attend and educate themselves to get answers on legal issues. They will gain first-hand insight from the minds of attorneys and other professional experts.
