Max Hoffman to speak at ICLE's Health law Institute
LANSING, MI--Max Hoffman, a partner at Fraser Trebilcock's Lansing office, has been invited to participate as part of a panel of experts at the 18th Annual Health Law Institute sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
The institute will take place March 8-9 at The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth. Hoffman will be speaking with Peter Caplan, an assistant United States Attorney with the US Department of Justice, and David Heron, an attorney based out of Troy, Michigan.
Hoffman has been a speaker at every session since the inception of the Institute, which hosts more than 100 healthcare lawyers annually at its convocation.
Hoffman will lead the discussion that will cover the practical aspects of case selection and investigation from the plaintiff's side. He will take into account the views of the private litigant and the government in addition to the investigation and counseling of the healthcare entity from his perspective.
Hoffman frequently represents hospitals and physicians in whistleblower suits often brought by former employees.
