The Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library hosted “Homeownership: What to Do When You Fall Behind on Your Mortgage” as part of the People’s Law College seminar series on Tuesday, March 27.
Plunkett Cooney attorneys (left to right) Patrick C. Lannen, Michelle R. E. Donovan, and Marc P. Jerabek (far right) discussed the mortgage process and how consumers can work with their lenders when they fall behind on their payments to avoid the foreclosure process.
The People’s Law College is sponsored by the Public Services Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association.
Welcoming this session’s guest speakers were John MacKenzie (center) and Kathy Fox (second from right), director of Employer Development at Wayne State University Law School and OCBA PALS (Providing Access to Legal Services) Committee member.
The final People’s Law College workshop will explore “Driver’s License Restoration and Expungements” on Tuesday, April 24. The public is welcome to attend. For additional information or to register, call 248-334-3400.
