League of Women Voters hosting Oakland forum on redistricting reform
The League of Women Voters Oakland Area will be hosting a public forum on Saturday, April 21, to discuss the results of Michigan's 2011 redistricting and how to improve the process moving forward.
The program will feature presentations on the 2011 redistricting process and approaches used by other states, followed by a facilitated discussion about ideas for reform. The featured speaker will be Christina Kuo, senior director of public policy and public affairs for the Michigan Nonprofit Association.
The forum will be presented Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bloomfield Township Library, 1099 Lone Pine Road.
