"Gone With the Wind" returns to the Michigan Theatre

If it's the Civil War Muster weekend in Jackson, then it must be time for the Michigan Theatre's big, big screen to once again show the classic 1939 epic "Gone With The Wind."
The film will hit the screen on Saturday, August 25, at 6 p.m., and Sunday afternoon, August 27, at 2 p.m. The movie is 238 minutes long with a 10-minute intermission. Admission is free, but a donation is welcome.
The 82-year-old 1400-seat theatre has received many hours of renovation and restoration since the Michigan Theatre of Jackson organization began in 1993, including hours and hours of cleaning and cosmetic work, main floor rest rooms, and most recently, an enlarged snack bar.
For additional information call the theatre office at 517-783-0962, or on the website: www.michigantheatre.org.
