On Saturday, Sept. 15, beginning at 12 noon to 5 p.m., on the grounds of Hoffman Farms, located at 2521 Rose Center Road in Highland, Michigan, the Third Annual Patriot Week Festival will be held.
The Patriot Week Festival is a day dedicated to "Renew the American Spirit" and remember America's founding "First Principles" and history. It is also a time when those who have served or are serving our nation in war are recognized. It is a family fun-filled event that consists of patriotic speakers and presentations, live music, a bounce house, and other fun activities.
"We must always remember those who gave their tomorrow for our today," says Oakland County Commissioner Hoffman. He serves as one of the event organizers.
Patriot Week Co-Creator, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael J. Warren, stated "The Patriot Festival has become a highly anticipated annual tradition which renews the American spirit in a fun and yet educational way. We encourage the public to come out and celebrate all that makes America the greatest nation in world history in a nonpartisan, family friendly environment."
There is a $5 donation per car of which the donations are used to pay for this event and statewide Patriot Week activities. For additional information, go to www. Patriotweek.org, or call festival organizers Oakland County Commissioner Bob Hoffman at 248-343-4554 or Ty Cochell at 248-363-0340.
