Bar association, law students celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, latino law students from surrounding law schools and the Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan (HBAM) will gather on Friday, Sept. 28, from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at Vicente's Cuban Cuisine, 1250 Library St. in Detroit.
The lead organizer of this event is Mia Guerra, president of Thomas M. Cooley's Hispanic / Latino Law Society. The evening will feature a keynote speech by HBAM board member Lawrence Garcia titled "Realities of a Latino Lawyer," authentic Cuban cuisine, live music, and Salsa dancing lessons.
