Father charged with murdering daughter
TROY (AP) -- A suburban Detroit man has been charged with murder, accused of killing his 3-month-old daughter by blunt force to the head.
Twenty-five-year-old Kenneth M. Little was arraigned last Thursday on an open count of murder. He's jailed without bond until his next court appearance today.
Defense lawyer Richard Lustig tells WXYZ-TV that another child may have killed the girl.
Police say they were called to a home about 2 a.m. last Monday and found Kendalyn Little unresponsive on a rug in a basement bedroom.
Authorities say efforts to revive her failed, and she was declared dead at a hospital.
