Book, exhibition features famous Detroit faces

DETROIT (AP) -- An exhibition is set to open this week featuring images from an upcoming book that showcases more than 50 people who have made Detroit famous.
The exhibition based on "Heart Soul Detroit: Conversations on the Motor City" opens Friday at the College for Creative Studies and runs through March 2.
The book by photographer and Mount Clemens native Jenny Risher includes color portraits and interviews with the likes of Eminem, Barry Sanders, Smokey Robinson, Lee Iacocca and Jack White.
The book will be widely available next month. It's published by Royal Oak-based Momentum Books.
