Program to look at 'Title Insurance and Policies'

 The Real Estate Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will present Part II of its “Title Insurance and Policies Seminar Series” on Wednesday, March 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills, 1760 S. Telegraph Rd., Suite 100.

 
Speakers will include David H. Martyn of Stewart Title Guaranty Company National Title Services and Dawn M. Patterson of First American Title Insurance Company.  Moderating the program will be Jody S. Hall of the Office of Oakland County Corporation Counsel.
 
The program will take a look at reading and understanding legal descriptions, how to read and use surveys, and endorsements.
 
Cost is $60 for pre-registered OCBA members, $42 for pre-registered OCBA new lawyers, and $80 for pre-registered non-members and all walk-ins.  To register or for additional information, contact the OCBA at 248-334-3400 or visit www.ocba.org.
