The 2013 Celebrating Our Diverse Bar Mixer will take place Thursday, March 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Fishbone's Rhythm Kitchen Cafe in Greektown, 400 Monroe Street.
Friends and colleagues from local and affinity bar associations throughout Metro-Detroit will gather for an evening celebrating the diversity of the legal community. This event provides an opportunity for local attorneys to make new connections and strengthen their existing networks. State Bar of Michigan President Bruce Courtade will provide brief remarks.
Among the presenting bar associations are: Albanian American Bar Association, Armenian American Bar Association, Chaldean American Bar Association, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, Federal Bar Association for the Eastern District of Michigan, Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers, Italian American Bar Association, Michigan Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Michigan Muslim Bar Association, Stonewall Bar Association of Michigan, Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan, Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association, and Wolverine Bar Association
Cost is $10 (cash bar) and advance registration is required. To register, visit www.detroitlawyer.org/upcomingevents.html. For additional information, contact Mitzy Sharp Futro at 313-961-6120 ext. 201 or msharpfutro@detroitlawyer.org.
