Honigman partner named to community school board
Tara E. Mahoney, a partner in Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP's Labor and Employment Department, has been appointed by the Eastern Michigan University's Board of Regents to the Ann Arbor Learning Community School Board, which is a charter school in Ann Arbor serving kindergartners through eighth graders.
Mahoney counsels employers on a wide range of employment and labor matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment and non-compete issues in state and federal courts.
She also serves the Ann Arbor community as president of the board of directors for Neutral Zone, a diverse, youth-driven teen center dedicated to promoting personal growth and artistic expression, community leadership and the exchange of ideas.
Mahoney earned a J.D., cum laude, at the University of Michigan Law School
