Juvenile intake referees focus of brown bag lecture

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Committee continued its Fundamentals of Juvenile Law – Year VII, a brown bag lunch lecture series, with “The Roles and Responsibilities of Juvenile Intake Referees” on Thursday, June 13, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.

Lecture moderator Melinda Deel (left) of Melinda N. Deel PLLC was pleased to present guest speaker Juvenile Court Referee David G. Bilson of the Oakland County Circuit Court Family Division.

“We’re talking about the juvenile intake process—how petitions get handled, any kind of new legal update, and new things happening in the Juvenile Division,” Bilson said.
