Ann Arbor, Michigan - Leah DuMouchel, Cindy Czubko and Ben Tallerico recently completed the NCI Charrette System® Certification course in Lansing, Michigan. The 3-day training illustrated the capability of the NCI Charrette System® for all aspects of community planning. Participants learned the practical NCI Charrette System® skills, tools and techniques through interactive, hands-on exercises practiced on four case study types:
• Sustainable community planning
• Regional/comprehensive planning
• Transportation/infrastructure planning
• Transit oriented development planning
The National Charrette Institute (NCI) is a nonprofit educational institution that teaches professionals and community leaders the NCI Charrette System®, a design-based, accelerated, collaborative project management system that harnesses the talents and energies of all interested parties to create and support a feasible plan.
