Employees and family members of Clark Hill PLC participated in the firm’s 5th Clark Hill Cares Annual Service Day throughout the country on Saturday, June 22. More than 220 volunteers turned out at food banks in Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. Participants packed food items, created wellness packages and assisted with sorting and organizing fresh produce and canned goods for local families.
In Lansing, Michigan, participants assisted in an urban gardening program for the Greater Lansing Community Food Bank.
“Food insecurity is an issue many communities face. With Clark Hill offices across the country, our team has the ability and commitment to work together and make a positive impact in the fight against hunger,” said Don Lee, Clark Hill chief marketing officer.
“We host a food and fund drive in the spring—across all offices—and turn out the next month to assist with the volunteer efforts. This is a very rewarding experience for all of us and we appreciate the opportunity to work with our food banks and give back to the communities we serve.”
