Brian Hildreth Named SBM Director of Information Technology Services
The State Bar of Michigan has named Brian S. Hildreth its new director of information technology services. Mr. Hildreth has served as database administrator for the State Bar since 2008. He has been responsible for maintaining the association database, developing and maintaining the member eCommerce portion of the website, and creating the committee portal system using SharePoint.
In his new role as director of information technology services, Mr. Hildreth will oversee the work of the Information Technology Services Division staff, which is responsible for the SBM network infrastructure, software and hardware maintenance and upgrades, offsite file storage, ISP connections, database operations, and telephone and e-mail maintenance.
Before working for the State Bar, Mr. Hildreth worked as a database administrator, solutions architect, and systems manager for Latitude Consulting Group, which was formerly known as Novations Learning Technologies and Strategic Interactive. In those roles he was responsible for automated data processing, guiding development methods for upcoming technologies, and managing corporate network assets and web developers. Mr. Hildreth has worked on learning management systems, competency management systems, and training management systems for some of the largest companies in Michigan, including DaimlerChrysler, Ford, and Whirlpool.
