Inn of Court members meet up at mixer

 The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) Inn of Court hosted its Orientation/Mixer on Monday, Sept. 9 at the Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Hills.

Among those enjoying the evening were (left to right) Oakland County Probate Court Judge Kathleen Ryan; Cooley Law School Auburn Hills campus Dean John Nussbaumer; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Colleen O’Brien; Brian Einhorn; Karen Safran; Bill Booth; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Jim Alexander; U.S. District Court Judge David Lawson, Eastern District of Michigan; Oakland County Probate Court Judge Elizabeth Pezzetti; Jody Aaron; Sheila Garin; Joe Papelian; Mike Schloff; and Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Martha Anderson.

“We’re here for the Oakland County Inn of Court Chapter of the American Inns of Court Kickoff event,” Lawson said.

“All of the teams are being introduced to their leaders and the judge participants are here to talk about the program. . . .We have an exciting program planned for this season which will culminate in a trip to the U.S. Supreme Court to have some of our lawyers sworn in in March and then our program will conclude in May.”
