IP Inn of Court begins its second term

 The law office of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn LLP hosted the Michigan IP Inn of Court reception on Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the atrium of its Bloomfield Hills office.

Among those taking part were (left to right) Anessa Kramer of Honigman; Denise Glassmeyer of Young, Basile, Hanlon, & MacFarlane PC; William Abbott of Abbott, Thomson, Mauldin, & Beer PC; Frank Angileri of Brooks Kushman; Michigan IP Inn of Court President Michael Huget of Honigman; Leslie Smith, president and CEO of TechTown Detroit; Michigan IP Inn of Court President-elect Jeff Sadowski of Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC; Kathy White, Wayne Law professor; William Cosnowski Jr. of Delphi Automotive Systems LLC; and Emily Tait of Honigman.

“This is our first meeting for the second term of our Inn. We are a professional organization of judges, attorneys, students, and others in the legal profession with an Intellectual Property based focus,” Tait said.

“We’re one of 18 Intellectual Property based focused Inn of Court in the United States,” Sadowski added. “I think there’s probably 200 Inn of Courts in the United States but we’re specific to Intellectual Property—patent, trademark, copyright focused.
