'Building a Successful Solo or Small Law Practice' to be discussed

The Wolverine Bar Association invites all attorneys and law students to attend its November General Body Membership Meeting and Panel Discussion on "How to Build a Successful Solo or Small Law Practice" presented Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. at the law offices of Bodman LLP at Ford Field, 1901 St. Antoine Street, 5th Floor, in Detroit.
The panelists will discuss the practical skills for starting, maintaining and growing a successful solo or small firm law practice. This program is designed to assist lawyers who are considering, or have already launched, a solo or small firm practice. Topics of discussion include, but are not limited to, choosing a practice area, creating a business plan, understanding the legal service market, fee arrangements, office management, ethics issues, money management, marketing techniques, and client relations.
The panelists include: Vassal Johnson II, Law Offices of Vassal N. Johnson II PLLC; Tracy Green, legal director Detroit Center for Family Law; Tracey M. Martin, Law Office of Tracey Martin; and Michael Lee, Law Offices of Lee & Correll.
Attendees should enter at Gate G or use the 2nd floor walkway from the Ford Field Garage. Parking will be validated. Refreshments will be served.
