Legal Aid and Defender to conduct free small claims court workshop
Legal Aid and Defender Association Inc. (LAD) will conduct a free workshop for residents of Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties on how to represent themselves in small claims court and collect money judgments on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sterling Heights Public Library, 40255 Dodge Park Road.
The workshop will feature a presentation on mediation options by the Resolution Center.
Registration is not required, but seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information, call LAD at 313-967-5630.
