Fatum admitted to American College of Trial Lawyers
Mark E. Fatum of Rhoades McKee has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in America.
Membership in the College cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. There are currently approximately 5,789 members in the United States and Canada, including active Fellows, Emeritus Fellows, Judicial Fellows (those who ascended to the bench after their induction) and Honorary Fellows. The College strives to improve and elevate the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the trial profession.
Fatum, shareholder at Rhoades McKee, joins only 19 other attorneys in Grand Rapids selected for inclusion. He has concentrated his litigation practice in the area of physician and medical professional liability. He is an AV Preeminent® Rated Attorney by Martindale Hubbell. Fatum has been consistently honored and recognized by Best Lawyers® and Super Lawyers®, and he has twice received the American Physician’s Assurance Corporation’s “Outstanding Defense Attorney Award.”
He has served as a director or trustee of numerous bar related and other not for profit organizations including the Notre Dame Club of Grand Rapids and the Kent County Habitat for Humanity, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. Fatum is a graduate from the St. Louis University School of Law (1985) and University of Notre Dame (1982).
