Van den Bergh announces candidacy for probate judge
Tracy Van den Bergh, attorney at Legal Services of South Central Michigan (LSSCM), recently announced her candidacy for Washtenaw County Probate Judge.
Van den Bergh began her legal career as a legal extern with the Felony Trial Division of the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office. Upon graduating summa cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law, she was recruited to join Bodman LLP’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice group. At Bodman, she represented individual and corporate clients involved in commercial litigation matters while still finding time to take on numerous pro bono cases. Motivated by her passion to serve, Van den Bergh transitioned to LSSCM in 2008. Since joining LSSCM, she has worked with more than 1,000 disadvantaged Washtenaw County residents. She represents clients in the district, probate, circuit, and appellate courts, specializing in the areas of family law and high-conflict litigation.
