Attorneys Title Agency partners with Habitat for Humanity

Farmington Hills-based Attorneys Title Agency (ATA) worked in conjunction with the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA) for Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County to help complete the finishing touches on a new home in Ferndale for one local family in need. ATA President Bill Robinson made the announcement.

As part of the volunteer day, seven ATA employees were on-site at a home on Browning Street in Ferndale to assist in a variety of household improvement tasks, such as cleaning, painting and installation of baseboards, to ensure the home was move-in ready for its new residents. In addition to the volunteer day, ATA employees, through office fundraising, donated $656 to Habitat for Humanity.

“As a committed supporter of Habitat for the past three years, our ATA family takes great pride in being able to work together as a team outside the office to help provide a deserving family in our community with a place they can call home,” said Robinson. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Habitat in the years to come and taking part first-hand in helping to build and improve the lives of others in our community.”

ATA is committed to giving back to the community by partnering with various local nonprofit organizations that work to provide homes and shelter to those in need. The Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County build was part of an ongoing corporate giving program carried out by the company.

Since 1995, Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County has built and rehabilitated homes for nearly 160 families through a dozen communities in the county.
