On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Thomas M. Cooley Law School hosted the 4th Annual Interfaith Dinner at its Auburn Hills campus for legal professionals from the Metro-Detroit area and Cooley faculty and students.
The dinner featured a panel discussion in which judges and attorneys shared their perspectives on how faith affects their personal and professional lives. Among those speaking on the panel were (left to right) retired Judge Edward Sosnick, Wayne County 20th District Court Judge David Turfe, Wayne County 36th District Court Judge Katherine Hansen, Bryant Frank of Soave Enterprises LLC, Antoinette Star Porter of DTE Energy, and Dewnya Bazzi of AT Law Group PLC.
The dinner was a co-sponsored event hosted by the Cooley Muslim Legal Society (CMLS), the Christian Legal Society (CLS), and the Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA).
The presidents of the respective organizations co-hosted and moderated the event.
Cooley Auburn Hills campus Acting Associate Dean Lisa Halushka gave opening remarks describing the history of the event and the student organizations’ contributions to the Auburn Hills campus.
