(TRI) as the April beneficiary of the company’s “Giving Back One Month at a Time” donation campaign. Computing Source CEO and Managing Director Mark St. Peter made the announcement.
The donation will go toward supporting TRI’s extensive community program offerings, which include group and private lessons, ground lessons, day tours, day programming for groups and much more to visitors from Washtenaw, Wayne, Jackson, Oakland, Monroe and Saginaw counties. All programs are specifically designed to improve the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of riders, helping to build muscle strength, balance, communication skills, self esteem and confidence in a fun, engaging and innovative way that they might not otherwise have access to. TRI’s operations are based at its new Pittsfield Twp. facility, the Harold and Kay Peplau TherapeuticRiding Center—Home of Therapeutic Riding Inc.
“We are thrilled that Computing Source has selected Therapeutic Riding, Inc. to be the April recipient of their ‘Giving Back One Month at a Time’ program,” said TRI Board President Jody Glancy Scott. “Their generous gift will provide critical operating funds to enable children and adults with disabilities to discover the joy of horseback riding.”
The gift will be presented at TRI’s 30th Anniversary Celebration and annual Kentucky Derby event on Saturday, May 3, at the Barton Hills Country Club at 5 p.m. For additional information on TRI, visit www.therapeuticriding.org
