'Labor & Employment Pro Bono Civil Litigation Training' offered by FBA

 The Pro Bono Committee of the Eastern District Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and its Pro Bono Council will present “Labor & Employment Pro Bono Civil Litigation Training Seminar” for pro bono attorneys and members of the Council.

The seminar will be presented Wednesday, May 21, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in Room 115 at the Levin U.S. Courthouse, 231 W. Lafayette in Detroit.

The training is meant for litigators new to the area of labor and employment who are willing to accept a pro bono assignment from the court.  Attendees will not only learn about the applicable law and common practices, but also applicable tips on working with judges in the Eastern District, pro se parties, and resolution of such cases.

Lunch will be provided, courtesy of the court, and will include judges and magistrates who will mingle with attendees.  For additional information or to register, email bonnie @burgess-sharp.com by Friday, May, 16.
