The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s American Inn of Court hosted its Annual Dinner on Tuesday, May 6, in the school’s atrium.
Happy to welcome attendees and guests were (left to right) UDM Professor Gary Maveal, UDM Interim Dean Troy Harris, and U.S. District Court Judge Patrick Duggan, Eastern District of Michigan.
“The American Inns of Court program is finishing its 29th year here in Detroit and tonight’s our banquet to commemorate the programs with about 30 lawyers and 12 of our graduating students,” Maveal noted.
“Tonight we’re hosting former executive director John Van Bolt of the Attorney Discipline Board who will be our guest speaker. John retired last year and agreed to come out of retirement to grace us with some post dinner remarks.”
