Trott & Trott PC donated funds and volunteered their time to support the American Cancer Society through their participation in the Farmington Hills Relay For Life which took place over 24 hours on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, in Shiawassee Park.
A total of 35 employees and three co-captains from Trott, along with their family and friends, joined forces for a fifth consecutive year as “The TFC Trotters” Relay For Life team, each donating a minimum of four hours of their time for a total of 152 hours contributed.
The team was led by team captains (left to right) Ruth Zittrtishch, Debbie Nelson, and Lindsey Combs.
Additionally, Trott employees raised $7,384.15 toward the cause, with Trott providing a company donation of $2,680 to bring the grand total to $10,064.15.
“We are proud that our company has participated in Relay For Life for five consecutive years, raising over $62,000 to support cancer research,” said Trott Managing Partner Jeffrey Raff.
“This year our employees and their families worked hard to raise funds through bake sales, an auction, craft shows, a bowling event and many other donations to reach their goal donation of $10,000.”
The Relay for Life initiative is a part of Trott’s corporate giving program, which has previously benefited other local charities, including Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan and Oakland Family Services.
