Judges recognized at Salute to Justice

The Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Salute to Justice – An Evening Honoring Distinguished Judges of Lebanese & Mediterranean Origin on Monday, June 30, at the San Marino Club’s Tre Monti Ristorante in Troy.

The event expanded from its inaugural year, during which Lebanese-American judges were honored, to include judges of Middle Eastern descent from beyond Metro Detroit’s borders.  The Lebanese Chamber was pleased to once again recognize the community leadership of the respected jurists.

Among those enjoying the event were (left to right) Joseph Falik, Joumana Kayrouz, Livingston County Circuit Court Judge Michael Hatty, Grosse Pointe Woods Municipal Court Chief Judge Theodore Metry, Lou Peters, Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Tracey Yokich, Macomb County 37th District Court Judge Matthew Sabaugh, Oakland County 52-3 District Court Judge Lisa Asadoorian, Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Richard Caretti, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge David J. Allen, Wayne County 20th District Court Chief Judge David Turfe, Jeffrey Lance Abood, Bill Kowalski, and Genesee County Circuit Court Judge Joseph Farah.
