Wrongful death lawsuit filed in child's death

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against a suburban Detroit man who was sentenced to life in prison for the beating death of his girlfriend's 2-year-old son.
The Detroit Free Press reports Timothy Sutton of Roseville is suing Ronald Dimambro Jr. and his parents in the death of his son Damian Sutton, who had been living with the child's mother in Dimambro's parents' Washington Township home.
Dimambro was convicted in June of first-degree murder and first-degree child abuse in the death of Damian. Authorities say Dimambro was babysitting for Damian last Aug. 21 when the man attacked the boy, breaking his skull. Damian died six days later.
Dimambro's defense attorney, Randy Rodnick, his client doesn't have money and he's "not sure where they're expected to collect from him."
