Legal Aid and Defender to conduct free outreach clinics in Detroit, Sept. 17
Legal Aid and Defender Association Inc. (LAD) will conduct a free outreach clinic on civil legal services for income-eligible residents of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties, including the city of Detroit, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tumaini Center, 3430 Third Ave. Attendees are asked to bring copies of their documents and register before 10 a.m., as a LAD attorney will assist only those persons who have done so by that time.
Also on Sept. 17, LAD will conduct another free outreach clinic on civil legal services from 1 to 4 p.m. at Mack Alive Inc. Community Resource Center, 3746 Fischer St. Attendees are asked to bring copies of their documents and register before 3 p.m.
