Lawyers to discuss eDiscovery strategy

Miller Canfield will bring its successful “Cappuccino with Counsel” breakfast briefing series for West Michigan employers Thursday, October 30  from 7:45 am to 9 a.m. at the Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites in downtown Kalamazoo.

Attorneys Kenneth Treece, Phillip Shane and Nathan Cortright will present an eDiscovery update. The trio will discuss how to use advanced analytics and predictive coding defensibly and effectively, significant eDiscovery cases and their practical impacts, and proposed eDiscovery-related amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
The “Cappuccino with Counsel” series provides timely legal updates for in-house counsel and corporate executives over breakfast and, yes, cappuccino (and other breakfast beverages). Miller Canfield’s Troy, Detroit, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids offices have produced “Cappuccino with Counsel” programs for nearly 10 years. There is no cost to attend.
The Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites is located at 100 W. Michigan Ave. in Kalamazoo. To register for the October 30 breakfast, contact Sandy Bera at (248) 267-3345 or bera@millercanfield.com.
Additional “Cappuccino with Counsel” breakfasts are also planned for 2014.  For more information about future programs, visit www.millercanfield.com/events or call (248) 267-3345.
