Firefighters wearing pink gloves in October

FARMINGTON HILLS (AP) - Firefighters in Farmington Hills are giving a hand to those who are fighting breast cancer.
A pink hand.
Emergency medical technicians and paramedics with the Farmington Hills fire department are wearing pink medical gloves in October to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Emergency Medical Services Coordinator Jim Etzin says the Farmington Hills emergency personnel who wear pink gloves are showing patients, co-workers and others they're "committed to finding a cure for this dreadful disease."
