Three men charged in Waterford Twp. killing
WATERFORD TOWNSHIP (AP) - Authorities have charged three men who they say broke into an eastern Michigan home and killed a 22-year-old man.
Police in Oakland County's Waterford Township said the men in their 20s were each charged Tuesday with felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. They were all ordered held in the Oakland County jail without bond.
Police say the suspects intended to rob the home when they broke in early Saturday. They say Jacob Hershberger of Waterford was pronounced dead at the scene. At least one of the suspects was an acquaintance of Hershberger.
Local, state and federal authorities collaborated to later arrest the three suspects.
