Detroit vigil takes place after Ferguson decision

DETROIT (AP) - A peaceful vigil took place in downtown Detroit after a grand jury's decision not to indict a white police officer who killed a black 18-year-old in Ferguson, Missouri. About 15 people clasped hands and prayed Monday night outside the federal courthouse. Some chanted "No justice, no peace." Manan Desai told The Detroit News that he wasn't surprised by the grand jury's decision. He says that the shooting death of Michael Brown is part of a trend seen across the country. Desai says: "It just seems like there are so many instances like this that show a similar problem in the country in terms of police violence." Detroit police Sgt.
