Kiwanis fundraiser helps needy children

Jackson attorney Steve Conley buys a Kiwanis Newspaper from Kiwanis volunteer Brian Smith outside the Post Office in Jackson. On Dec. 12, Kiwanis club members were stationed around the community, and "sold" the Kiwanis Newspaper in exchange for donations to raise money for shoes and boots for needy children. Since 1918, the club has raised nearly $700,000.
