- The ADR Section will hold a lunch meeting 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, in Room A, Washtenaw County Service Center Campus, off Hogback Rd., hosted by Section Chairs Joseph Basta and Cynthia Evans. Guest speakers Andy, Lisa and Mark Brush will discuss " 21st Century Communication: The Intersection of Crucial Conversations and Online Technology." RSVP to Sally Brush at brushs@ewashtenaw.org or call 734-794-2125. A donation of $5 is requested for each Brown Bag Lunch attended to help pay expenses. The cost for a Continuing Education Certificate is $25.
- The Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section will hold a luncheon meeting at noon, Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Weber's Inn, 3050 Jackson Rd., hosted by Section Chairs Noah Harden and Jeffery Hall. The Hon. Julia Owdziej will provide an update about the Probate Court. The lunch costs $20, with a choice of whitefish or cheese tortellini. RSVP by Jan. 7 to Candy at newtonc@ewashtenaw.org with your meal choice. There will be no walk-ins.
- All courts will be closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 19.
